6.1 Thank you to Professor Kinoshita
***************************************************************************
It is my pleasure to express our thanks to our past President,
Hiroshi Kinoshita
who has guided our Commission over the past three years. It is he who
wrote and assembled the Commission Report for the past three years and
who arranged the meetings at the General Assembly in Kyoto.
I would also like to say thank you to one of our members, Toshio Fukushima,
who was the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee for Kyoto; the meeting
and the accommodations were superb.

6.2 Commission 4 Website
***************************************************************************
I have now established the initial website on the Internet for Commission 4:
http://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/iau-comm4
This is just a first attempt; I am now asking for comments, additions,
corrections, etc. from the members
The site contains membership information, our latest commission report,
minutes of our business meeting in Kyoto, information about where the
public can find ephemeris information, reference to recent papers that
relate to ephemerides, and pointers to the home pages of the IAU and of
the IAU Division I.
Please do look at the site, and let me know of any corrections or additions
that you feel would be suitable, especially for incorrect of missing membership
information.
Also note that the Website contains references to where people can find
ephemeris information. I think this needs our fullest attention. I feel
that one of the main purposes of Commission 4 is to make ephemerides easy
for the public to get. Many sources already exist; it is our job help them
get the best ones.
For those without access to the Internet, I shall try to mail out hard copies,
once the site is fairly well settled down.
