11.1 George Krasinsky : our new Vice President
George Krasinsky of the IPA in St. Petersburg will be the new Vice
President of IAU Commission 4 (Ephemerides). Thank you, George, for
accepting this position. We offer you our support during the next 6
years, and we wish you success in this position.

11.2 XXIVth IAU General Assembly
The XXIVth General Assembly of the IAU will be held at the University
of Manchester, Manchester, UK, during the period August 7-18, 2000.
IAU Information Bulletin 85 gives many of the details; they may also

The Commission 4 Business Meeting will be held on August 9, 9:00-10:30.
Each member of Commission 4 may give a 5-7 minute presentation about
activity at his or her own institution; it is asked only that the
topic be somewhat related to ephemerides. You must schedule your talk
with me before March 31, 2000. E M Standish)
We may also have a bit of time at the end for an informal discussion about
enhancing our Commission Website ("http://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/iau-comm4/").
Any comments or suggestions will be welcome.
